Czeslaw will appear sweet, innocent, and almost shy. He's not very impressionable with his quiet attitude and dark neutral-colored outfits. He also wears his flat cap deep over his eyes. He works hard to maintain this, to avoid being noticed too much by society.
In reality, Czeslaw Meyer is cold and manipulative, having survived the last 200 years of his immortal life by repeating a cycle of lying, using, betraying, being lied to, being used, and being betrayed. What a life, right? He's fearful of everybody, especially the few immortals who, like him, lurk in the various corners of the world and fearing one another, afraid of being devoured by men they once called "friend." Also having been tortured for years by a man he once trusted, Czeslaw is accustomed to pain, but also fearful of discovering a level of pain unknown to him yet. Among various other things that all lead back to the twisted relationship he had with his guardian, Fermet.
He won't hesitate to utilize people for the sake of his own survival; he won't hesitate to kill them, either, even children. However, one thing he will never do is to betray children. That, specifically, is taboo to him as it reminds him of what Fermet made him suffer through.
He's also terribly lonely, but that's a subconscious thing he has yet to come to terms with at his canon point (he isn't quite through with Grand Punk Railroad yet).
