Because I was stupid. I was selfish and I wanted to go home.

You killed people for the exact same reason I killed you.

Why? What happened?

Before I came here, I was in a similar situation. I was summoned to another world, along with [She lets a beat go before she swallows and keeps on] Umi-san and Hikaru-san. We were told we were the magic knights of legend and in order to go home, we'd have to save the princess from her high priest.

But Emeraude... was more than just the princess. She was the pillar. The world needed her and her prayers to survive. Her willpower literally held the world together.

We killed Zagato-san without even thinking about it. Like it was... some kind of game, or a story. We didn't put together the obvious pieces. And he died, trying to protect her. And when Emeraude found out... we killed her. She would have destroyed the entire world. She would have killed us.

She died just because she wasn't allowed to love. They both died because we didn't stop and think. We just wanted to go home.

[Does Fuu's "won't hurt anybody fuck you" attitude make more sense now?]
